While returning from dropping the kids off at school Ciaran and Sinead called into us on a house we were building in Coolmine and instantly realised the quality of our work.
During our first sit down to discuss the vision they had for there home, I quickly realised how big a decision this was for them, not just financially as all major renovations are but I felt they really needed some guidance and consequently needed to fully trust there builder.
Although we were not extending the property there was a vast amount of structural work comprising of a new roof, removal of supporting walls, addition of structural steels to replace the for mentioned walls and to also give us the capability to open up the back of the property and therefore the opportunity to fit the very attractive set of 5000 x 2100mm Aluclad lift and slide doors.
Once again with space at a premium we managed to create a small but extremely effective utility room with by folding doors which allows for easy access.
Sinead and Ciaran picked high quality finishes, throughout the ground floor is a hi quality laminate from Balterio with a 25 year residential guarantee.
There is no better place to find examples of the traditional style that Ciaran and Sinead wanted to create than in the kitchen, from the mock inframe style doors and grooved end panels sprayed to Sinead’s chosen colours, Farrow and Ball Pavilion Grey main Kitchen with moles breath used to contrast, to the Belfast sink nestled in the heart of the island all topped off with quartz work surfaces.
Some of the more subtle touches are the special order velux windows and vertical radiators. All combined creating a beautiful space.
